News clipping from "The New York Home Journal," dated November 21, 1894, reports that Mr. Wadsworth will travel through the Mediterranean on the French boat, La Touraine, during the early part of 1895 and will visit Spain, Italy, Africa, Egypt, Turkey and the Holy Land. Circular entitled "With the Artists" published by "The Brooklyn Citizen," Fulton Street corner of Adams, no date, announces that Mr. Wadsworth will furnish a weekly article to "The Brooklyn Sunday Citizen" and mentions his credentials and his popularity with the Brooklyn and New York artistic communities. Letter, dated January 26, 1895, announces his departure on February 6th aboard the steamer, "La Touraine," on a trip around the Mediterranean and inquires about submitting an illustrated article to McClure's.
